Yesterday in late hours, a Kosovo police patrol has been attacked with firearms in the northern part of Kosovo.
According to the KK, in the village of Serbovc, the Zvecan municipality, police units until they were on regular patrol duty, were attacked by armed men with long arms, by a grey-coloured Audi type vehicle with KM license, reports Kankosova.tv.
“As a consequence of the incident, a Kosovo Police member has been easily injured and significant material damage has been caused in the police car”, police said in last night's announcement.
Meanwhile, the injured policeman, born in 1982, has been sent to QKUK for treatment.
As reported by Klan Kosovo journalist, the policeman has taken two bullets in the body, one in the Torras and the other near his neck.
Meanwhile, the injured policeman is soon expected to undergo surgery for firing bullets.
