Case of murder: Lipjan station commander, three police officials suspended

So has Minister of Internal Affairs Jelal Svechla announced through a post on his social network account, Facebook.

“at last night's meeting, invited by the President, I have announced that IPK is in the last phase of investigations against police officials who are engaged in all the already felt case of Hamide Magashi, especially the part of implementation of the Protection Order from the Police Station in Lipjan. I have just reported that from the investigations thus far, there have been suspicions based on criminal acts “due to the use of official position and authority” and “Forging the official document”, he wrote.

Svechla announced that the Kosovo Police Inspectorate's recommendation for the commander's suspension and three other police officials has been accepted.

On this occasion, The IPK has recommended the suspension of four police officials from the Lipjan Police Station, while the Pristina Regional Directorate has implemented this recommendation. Also, the so far found will be forwarded to the prosecutor for criminal treatment”, the minister Svechla's post says.
