Murati warns “ex1> of veterans' lists, with new law becoming verification

Finance Minister Iron Murati has said that the lists of Kosovo Liberation Army veterans “are inflated”, so he has warned that a verification will come with the new law.

During June, KLA OVL organisations had protested before the Parliament to express their dissatisfaction with the first reading of the law that exempts their category from increasing the minimum wage.

A war veteran currently pays 170 euros. According to the bill, which the majority of Kosovo Assembly deputies voted on would be 264 euros, while currently standing at 130 euros and 170 euros.
