Munsch: Close co-ordination ahead with KFOR

In an interview for the Serbian agency, Beta, NATO Joint Force Command Commander Admiral Stuart Munsch said KFOR is closely monitoring the situation in northern Kosovo.Got it.
He added that KFOR is “fully able and willing to provide a safe and free environment for all communities everywhere in Kosovo, in line with the mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 from 1999”.
“Since October we have increased the presence, among other things, adding forces as well as patrols north of Kosovo this week. We expect all actors to be in close co-ordination with the KFOR mission and to refrain from provocative demonstrations of force in order to preserve the security of all communities”, he said.
Munsch has met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq in Belgrade today.
