Twice he met Kurt, Rassic: I promise to be much better than Rakiq

The new Minister for Return and Community in the government of the Republic of Kosovo, Nenad Rassic, has said it is no surprise his appointment in this position. This is because he, as he added, was engaged three years ago as director of the Office for Communities in the same government. Rassic said [...]
Rassic said he has experience in co-operation with Prime Minister Albin Kurti and demonstrated confidence that in his new post he expects his boss's full support.
The chairman of the Democratic Progressive Party also acknowledged that he came to this position thanks to the Serbian List's decision to leave the Kosovo government.
My task is to be better than my predecessor, which will not be at all difficult”, Rassic said in an interview for “Danas”.
He has added that his appointment preceded two long meetings with Kurti, after which “received guarantees that a new chapter will be opened in bilateral relations between Serbs and Albanians”.
According to him, for southern Serbs, who he said are 65 percent of this community in Kosovo, institutions are important to solve the problems they face daily.
“We are pragmatic and appreciate that we can be part of the” institutions, Raspic said, who has added that during Goran Rakiqi's” government, the ministry for Kthim and the Community had a pale engagement. “I hope this commitment will change and I will co-operate with all that this ministry will become, indeed, the communication bridge for respect of Serb attitudes by Kosovo”.
