Messie first came out of the plane with the trophy, followed by his team, who greet people present. When the bus left the airport, the vehicle was quickly surrounded by numerous national fans. The following videos show a bus that is slowly driven by a police escort and dozens of people who cheer.
Those present danced and sang, while hero players waved. Tuesday was declared a national holiday from Argentina.
