Mej: Kosovo Army Has Capacity to Protect Country Territorial Integrity

Defence Minister Armend Mehaj has distributed a video saying the Kosovo Army has modern combat capacity for protecting Kosovo's territorial integrity and state sovereignty.
“The army of the Republic of Kosovo, with modern combat capacity for protecting the territorial integrity and state sovereignty of our country, has written Mehaj.

Minister Mehaj has added that they are continuing with the development and advancement of Kosovo forces according to the highest standards of NATO member and partner states.

Otherwise, some protesters have gathered near the border crossing point between Kosovo and Serbia, Jarinje, on the side of Serbian territory as a sign of support to local Serbs who have set up barricades in northern Kosovo.

Protesters have been heard screaming, “Kosovo is the heart of Serbia”.

Serbian police have created a cordon near the border.

The call for protest has been made by rightist groups, such as the “National Patrol”, and has been called for organisation to join other supporters from Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina's Republika Srpska.
