Lushtaku, at a media conference, said that the Constitutional Court has a literal basis for suspending this law because it holds four points of violations.
The “actually in this end should not be, but saw the end this year with another presentation at the Constitutional Court, where we think there will be a subsequent violation of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo”.
“Today at the request of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party of Kosovo we have come to the Constitutional Court to apply for constitutionality of the law to public officials that we think has made a subsequent violation of the Constitution. The dignity of public and civil servants has been violated, and we have therefore thought that at four points of violation of this law we present here”.
“has actual grounds for the Constitutional Court to suspend the law for public officials”, Lushtaku said.
Among other things, Lushtaku said that in 2022 we started backwards after Kurti Government has failed in many ways.
“Vitin 2022 we started back after Kurti Government and the majority in every respect failed in the main part of governance, implementation of the action plan and its priorities. It has failed to help citizens, and we have a deep economic crisis” Lushtaku said.
We remember that the Kosovo Assembly days ago adopted the draft bill for public officials, where 62 MPs have participated in its vote and 58 have voted for, and four have abstained.
Three Opposition P parties DK, LDK and AAK have not participated in the vote.
Regarding the law for public officials adopted in the Assembly, the European Union has reacted, expressing concern with certain provisions of this law.
