Limaj: Kosovo returning in 2008

Limaj in Politino on Canal10 said that Belgrade, already with the recent resignations of Serbs from Kosovo institutions, has led Serbian fellow citizens on an unremitting road, writes Gazeta10.

We have to ask the question, if the situation will come back the way it was. Do we have a chance to turn that part of Kosovo into another situation? My fear, my concern is that Belgrade has led our fellow citizens to a dead end. If in Pristina we are told that we would like to return the pre-August situation, this is a huge loss for our country”, Limaj said further to Politikom.

Social Democrat Initiative Chairman Fatmir Limaj has declared that the current situation in the country's north is extremely disturbing.

In his view, the same situation will even have effects and consequences.

Limaj has added that the state of Kosovo has fallen into the trap of Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, who, according to him, is also fulfilling a scenario by blocking the streets, writes Gazeta10.

It's a disturbing situation. The Brandy Agent is slowly coming in. His game, which has unfortunately fallen from our state, is now in fulfillment of that scenario. Not only today, but for about a year, we have come to a situation where the border points are closed and where the roads are blocked. Local state presence there is nowhere. We have an extraordinary undeclared situation. For me, the effects will come and the consequences will come from this”, Limaj said.
