Analyst and Professor Blerim Latifi has reacted after the created situation in the country's north.
Through a Facebook text, Latif said that tonight the North is practically in a state of war.
“Tonight the North is practically in a state of war. Close to Weiman there has been exchange of fire between Kosovo police and Serb paramilitaries, while police units guarding the two border points there are now blocked after the barricades were established. Social networks are still silent because everyone looks at the French- England match. KFOR has not yet spoken. Maybe they're stuck in front of the screen, like all the Albanian”.
He wished the police and journalists luck, who say they are standing there under threat of criminal gangs.
What else can you say? Good luck to the Kosovo police in the north! Even Kosovo journalists trying to report from there, under threat of Serb gangs! And to the rest of us, stuck in front of the screens looking at football, be it a big deal!
