Kurti: Can't be tolerated much during barricades in the north

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said that Kosovo's Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Svechla, is staying in Mitrovica all the time and in constant contact with KFOR, but that according to him KFOR has asked Kosovo institutions for the removal of barricades.
However, Kurti has said such barricades cannot be tolerated for long.
“Svechla is not staying in Pristina, is in Mitrovica all the time, every day, in constant contact with KFOR's command to remove barricades. KFOR has asked us for some more time. We are in constant communication with KFOR, not much will be tolerated during such barricades”, Kurti has declared.
The head of the Kosovo government for the illegal structures of Serbia has said it is the beginning of their latest phase.
Asked about yesterday's protest in the north, he has said Serbia's illegal structures want Kosovo back in 1999.
“I can't say that it's civil protest, when there are armed people there, want Kosovo back in 1999 and who carry the banner and photos of despotic President Putin, those who aim to destabilise Kosovo, will always fail as they failed yesterday, their goal was to come to Kosovo, were not in the number they had imagined, while the security organs of the Republic of Kosovo and international forces have naturally taken care of security and peace”, Kurti followed.
Among other things, Prime Minister Kurti, during the opening ceremony of the second phase works for the rehabilitation of the 10th Kosovo-Mitrovica Railway Line, has said the state has never been on track again, and that there has never been more police and professionals in northern Kosovo who care for the legality of constitutionality.

Otherwise, today marks the tenth day of the deployment of barricades by Serbs in northern Kosovo.
Serbs are objecting to the arrest of former police official Dejan Pantek, through roadblocks.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, December 18th, Serbs gathered in protest near the Jarinje border.
