Kurti: Kosovo's highest economy in the region

Reforms undertaken by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to improve the investment environment and do business in Kosovo, as well as to boost employment, were highlighted by Prime Minister Kurti.
“He argued that World Justice Project has ranked the Republic of Kosovo in the first place in the Western Balkans for the rule of law and second place in the world for greater improvement in rule of law. Stressing Kosovo's unprecedented economic growth (10.7 %), which is the highest in the region and the largest since the Kosovo post-war, as well as GDP growth, the prime minister thanked investors for the contribution made to the increase”, the announcement is reported by the prime minister's office.
The conversation singled out legislative reforms, as well as concrete solutions to attracting investments.
“at the joint meeting with European Investors Council Executive Director (EIC), Emrush Ujkan and EIC representatives stressed that open, constructive and stable dialogue between institutions and investors will contribute to improving the investment environment in Kosovo and increasing foreign direct investment. In the European Council of Investors, honourary members are the EU Office in Kosovo, EBRD and the European Investment Bank (Luxemburg), as well as European companies and companies from the banking industry, telecommunications, insurance, automotive industry, plastic industry, auditing companies, pharmaceutical industry, the energy, textile industry and the transport industry”, are said in the announcement by the prime minister's office.
