Kurti has said Kosovo's relations with Serbia are not normal and they are normalised only with mutual recognition within the dialogue in Brussels.
“The association of Serb majority municipalities is an agreement that was made in 2013, then, when concreteised in 2015, did not pass the Constitutional Court test. Imagine, 33 agreements have been made in Brussels, Serbia insists on that agreement that has not passed the Constitutional Court test. I do not deny that, within the dialogue, Serbia will raise as the issue of association as a model to resolve national minority rights issues. Let me do it within the dialogue we need to develop in Brussels”, Kurt said in an interview for A2. CNNReport Express.
Kurti has said that the final agreement with Serbia should be legally binding, guaranteed by Vienna Convention on the Law of Tacts.
“The EU and the US are helping to intensify dialogue towards a legally binding, internationally recognised agreement, in the sense of the Vienna Convention on the Treaty Law, because this is how we will have the stability of the agreement and the guarantee of implementation”, he said.
