At this meeting, in terms of party developments and work between two meetings of the Steering Council, the Party's Headship, Parliamentary Group, Democratic Youth of Kosovo and the Commission for Organising the PDK in Mergita reported.
This meeting also discussed current developments, with particular emphasis on developments in the northern part of Kosovo, dialogue and the comprehensive agreement on normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia.
In his speech, Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Memli Krasniqi said that during this year Kosovo has faced challenges and successive crises in many ways, including energy, health, economy, security, dialogue and diplomacy.
Chairman Krasniqi, speaking of the situation created in the northern part of Kosovo, called on the government to respond immediately and remove the barricades.
“The government must be vigilant and react as soon as possible to remove the barricades, which have become Vuciki's workshops, as an attempt to partition Kosovo”, he said.
Header The PDK called on the government to remove barricades in the northern part and said it has full support.
He said citizens have voted for the government that rules all over Kosovo, not only to the Ibër Bridge.
Meanwhile, regarding the Kosovo dialogue, Serbia, Mayor Krasniqi said the PDK has already made public the five main points, which should be pillars of the final agreement with Serbia.
“Maintaining the unitary character of the state of Kosovo under the current constitutional arrangement; formal recognition by the five non-recognitional EU states; launching the NATO membership process through participation in the <x1).Partnerity for Peace” as a first step; obtaining candidate status for EU membership; and mutual recognition must be the basic pillars of this” agreement, Chairman Krasniqi said.
Regarding the Party's Headship Report, Secretary General PDK, Bajrush Xhemaili, said that during 2022, the leadership has developed an open agenda even through communication of its positions on political developments, in at least three ways.
“Banking power with the responsibility and inadequacy of governance, degradation of social, economic and political life in the country, as well as presenting options with concrete proposals, as has happened with recommendations for inflation, economic situation, dialogue, and other important questions”, secretary Xhemaili has said.
Abelard Tahiri, chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, has said the PDK MP group is consistent, active and has concrete agendas.
The Kosovo Democratic Party's <x0 Group, through political engagement in the Assembly, has largely managed to exercise its agenda within the Kosovo Parliamentary Assembly through parliamentary debates, legal initiatives and political confrontation with majority and the government Kurti, exposing the government's political actions at the expense of state agenda and institutional degradation, its abuse and inability to exercise responsibility in the constitutional rule of law, state interests and the needs of the citizens, Tahiri has said.
For the work of Kosovo's Democratic Youth, Mayor Donjet Bislimi has said commitment has been extraordinary to empower the youth.
“Since receiving the mandate, the Democratic Youth of Kosovo, in full co-operation with its Central and Branch structures, has developed numerous activities, more than 450, initiated by the central structures of youth, and with record numbers of organised activities organised and implemented by branches, but together exceed the four-share number”, Bislimi said.
Meanwhile, in the end, about the extraordinary work that was done during 2022, in Mergata, by the Commission for Organising the PDK in Mergata, Mayor Elmi Recica spoke.
The Commission for Organising the Democratic Party of Kosovo in Mergita through 2022 has held many activities, meetings and discussions, meetings and gatherings. The focus of this Commission's work, of course, has been and remains structural in the Mrgata, forming the branches and subdegies of the Democratic Party in the states where our fellow countrymen live and operate”, Commission Chairman Elmi Recica has said.
Meetings, the establishment of branches and networks in Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy, and so on were mentioned among the arrivals, as well as the organisation of the Kosovo Maggotta Week.
At the end of this meeting, Mayor Krasniqi and all in attendance congratulated the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo for the holiday season, with the desire that the year 2023 brings you more harmony and prosperity in their lives.
