Local Power Management Minister Elbert Krasniqi has said today they cannot impose managers to manage with the four northern municipalities, following the resignations of the mayors there and the postponement of elections until April 2022.
At the media conference, after the Kosovo Government's meeting, Krasniqi has said that with the Law on Local Self-government, the appointment of administrators is not provided.
He has said basic services are continuing to be provided in the north.
On the other hand, Finance, Labour and Transfers Minister Hekura Murati has stated that through grants they will finalise the “solar central heating program”, which amounts to about 80m euros.
He has suggested that they are adjusting or fueling some of the government dictatorships.
