Who's the bell for?

In the northern part of Kosovo is happening exactly what we have warned days ago and, which in no way, dares happen. Barricades are turning to everydayity in front of the government. Just because the government is silent and ignoring it as fact does not mean that a new reality is not being created in the northern part. For those who have ears to hear, eyes to see, the bell is falling. Powerful. Nice.

Looking away is not a solution. Further compromises, even less. The exercise of sovereignty and the rule of law, as well as the functioning of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo throughout the country requires immediate and consistent institutional action. Barricades must be removed without delay.

Standing with the Kosovo Police, we urgently ask the Government to meet their conditions so that they will implement the order and law in the northern part of Kosovo. The time is for restoring normality and ensuring security for all Kosovo citizens in this part of our state.

For what can be done today, it may be too late tomorrow. Kosovo does not have this comfort. The sovereignty of our country is being violated. Our future is at stake. Immediate response required. Remove those shameful barricades and prove to the citizens that you are close to them. Do not abandon Kosovo!
