Unanimously, the Government approved the allocation of 30 thousand euros. MPJD Deputy Minister Kressnik Ahmeti said this is being done in solidification with journalists from Afghanistan and that professional reporting will be possible.
This amount covers expenditures for the remaining 2022”, Ahmeti said.
The government also adopted a decision to offer temporary and immediate protection to five Afghan journalists.
The selection of journalists will take place in co-ordination with the European Federation of Journalists.
