KMDLNJ: Killing pregnant woman, failure of state defence mechanisms

Last night around 1600 at the QKUK's clinic courtyard of gynecology, H was executed. M., 35 years old by a person suspected of being her former husband, S. H. and who has not yet been arrested or handed over to the police. I felt it, H. M was located at the Gynecology Clinic where it was expected to be born soon.

Only after the crime happened did I learn that H. M was physically violated by the former husband as if he had been threatened with life, so he was placed in state protection regimes for the fact that the case had been reported to the police several times. These are official information from the attorney who handles the case, as well as evidence from family members of the deceased H. M.

The KMDLNj judges this case as a flagrant violation of human law, the right to life over which all other rights are built.

KMDLNj estimates that H's murder. M is the direct consequence of the failure of state defence mechanisms which, despite the fact that they have been informed of the case rather than taking measures for effective protection of the executed victim H. M has been content with temporary, gentle measures that have encouraged the handbill to commit this crime rather than prevent it.

KMDLNj seeks and expects Kosovo Police as soon as possible to arrest the suspect in the H murder. M and in co-operation with other responsible institutions to bring him to justice organs.

KMDLNI calls all citizens to inform the Kosovo Police in case they are aware of the owner's whereabouts in order to be arrested as soon as possible.

KMDLNI strongly opposes the promotional and disuseative statements of politicians who misuse victims even there want to benefit politically.

Politicians should not interfere in investigative and justice affairs through statements of political folklore. Only justice bodies have the obligation and competence that after the investigation is completed, make a decision on the basis of prosecuted evidence.

KMDLNI wants to be investigating which links to the institutional chain responsible for the life of the late H. M has failed and in line with this to take concrete measures based on the degree of responsibility.

KMDLNI finds violence against women expressed in all its forms since threats, blackmail, physical violence and murder.

It is a phenomenon of violence against women that is done sophisticatedly and in co-ordination of organised criminal structures with the aim of obtaining custody of children, exclusion of the right to inheritance, putting women in highly closed health institutions, as if for serious mental disorders where information is completely closed and kept away from the public until the end of the job.

KMDLNY is monitoring such a case where there are allegedly human rights violations.

KMDLNI estimates that if the Defense Order had been respected and supervised, there would have been greater security to feel H. M.

And, the biggest issue has been made of the fact that the suspects had not been placed in the electronic ring, the legal basis for which there is, and that they are submitted to the Law that was passed two years ago. The chain of response is long and the case does not end with the arrest of the murder suspect.
