“We are currently reviewing” this request, KFOR's response sent to Radio Free Europe.

“KFOR continues to be extremely vigilant and fully capable of fulfilling its mission, which dates back to the United Nations”, this mission added.

On 15 December, authorities in Serbia announced they have decided to address KFOR at the request for troop delocation in Kosovo.

Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, said it is clear that the request will be rejected.

Serbia has made that request by calling to UN Security Council Resolution 1244, as tensions between Kosovo and Serbia have increased in recent days.
