KFOR: Avoid showing force in the north, finding solution to dialogue

It is important that all involved avoid any rhetoric or action that can cause tensions and escalate the situation. We expect all actors to refrain from provocative displays of force and seek the best solution to ensure the safety of all communities. We encourage all sides to help the security and freedom of movement in Kosovo and prevent fraudulent narativas from influencing the dialogue process”, said a resident official Rystuccia statement.
KFOR has confirmed earlier that it has increased presence and patrols in recent months.
“Stay vigilant and fully able to fulfill the mandate that falls under UN Security Council Resolution 1244 for all communities in Kosovo. The solutions must be found through the” dialogue, the KFOR commander's statement concludes.
