Kastrati: Soldiers stop paying 380 euros

The main problem has been at the budget that KSF has been divided over the past four years that hasn't been doing so well. During this year, I have praised the government for sharing 103m euros in budgets, as it is a promotion for FKS equipment and capacity”.
“If it were the top budget from the start, of course the Kosovo Army would move much faster than thus far”, Kastrati said.
Kastrati, at Info Magazine in Klan Kosova, on the fourth anniversary of the establishment of the Kosovo Army, estimates that more must be done, especially in the increase in military salaries.
The army has 5,000 active soldiers and 3,000 reserves, but various weapons and equipment require great costs. The first and second years have not been given enough space in the budget to move forward. For the next year, 128m euros have been earmarked, but I think there are less than 103 million that have been divided this year, as inflation, equipment, exercise, schooling and exercises are higher costs than the next year we leave. So, I think that the budget set aside for the military is too small for”.
“As far as I know for next year, it's not pre-price pay raise, and this is very bad because with 380 euros' salary from a soldier requires quality, preparation, readiness and sacrifice for the country, and that's not fair”, Kastrati said.
Kastrati, among other things, says six years remain until KSF membership in NATO, but that by then more must be done for the army in equipment, weapons and infrastructure.
