The Kosovo Judiciary Council has expressed concern today over Prime Minister Albin Kurti's request to be informed by the name of the judge, who has made a legal decision to change the action of indictee Dejan Pantic from custody to house arrest.
K The JC has suggested that trends for intervention are unacceptable and that they are condemned.
We recall the prime minister that the judges are and should be independent during the exercise of their constitutional and legal duties, while trends for intervention are unacceptable and as such strongly condemned. As for Prime Minister Kurti's question on the name of the judge who has decided on this case, the Judiciary Council publicly informs Prime Minister Kurti that based on Constitution and Law, the competent official person who has made this decision is called Judge of the Republic of Kosovo, whose decisions should be respected without comment, including Government.”, has been disclosed in response.
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has been declared today after sending former Serbian police officer Dejan Pantic to home arrest, about what he has said is curious to know who the prosecutor and the judge who have released a detainee for terrorism. Kurti at a media conference has expressed his surprise at how a detainee for terrorism is sent home arrest.
