U.S. is hit by a powerful winter storm

Major storms have also hit the central part of the United States, causing road and school closures, as many countries have reported that snow has reached a height of up to 1.2m.
About 3,300 flights have been postponed and over 150 have been cancelled.
Close to 500,000 people in four states, Neuroska, Wyomia, South Dakota, and Minnesota have been warned that they will face snow storms as powerful winds and snow rains have made the journey difficult. Millions of other residents across the United States have also been hit with powerful snow storms.
Powerful storms are also foretold to strike Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and parts of Florida.
At least 18 tornadoes have hit Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Mississippi, causing material damage.
Because of bad weather, authorities in Louisiana have declared a state of emergency.
Most states in the United States will feel the impact of storms, as forecasting that low temperatures and snowfall will continue in the coming days.
Besides American states, Canada has also faced snowstorms and powerful winds.
