In an address following Venice's opinion vote, Minister Haxhiu added that this bill represents an applicable system of civilian seizures in Kosovo.
She said that the gathering held today in Venice, Italy, has introduced changes to the State Bureau for Verification and Confiscating of the Prustified Riches.
I am very happy that after the presentation and discussion, the Venice Commission has voted in favour of such changes, consisting of addressing recommendations and problems identified in this year's June opinion. Rapporteurs for Kosovo stressed that the new bill already presents a applicable system of civil seizures in the Republic of Kosovo. For more of them, co-operation with the Kosovo authorities was a wonderful example, which should serve as well for the remaining”, Haxhiu has declared.
The State Bureau bill has been submitted to the Venice Commission for the second time by Kosovo Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca, who has abstained in voting on the bill.
Conjufca was addressed to “Venecias” with the request to verify the amendments if all of the working group's recommendations regarding this bill have been addressed.
