Green Call Kurt: Focus on economic growth, not political manipulation

Asked how he sees the news about the release of Serbian police and the possibility of de-expassing to northern Kosovo, Grenelli said he is happy with this news, while voicing concerns that special forces have been transferred to the site and that there have been arrests.

“Release for home arrest is a gesture of goodwill. I think that now the Government of Serbia has to answer the same, so removing the barricades”.

Grenelli also said Serbs in Kosovo should not be arrested for such activities because the situation is very tense and that Pristina has made a good move with the transfer of Serbian police to house arrest.

He also spoke of the United States' involvement in the dialogue process, while calling for the Biden Administration to be more aggressive in the conflict.

Greenell did not overlook Prime Minister Albin Kurti for whom he called to focus on economic development rather than on political issues that Kurti is trying to manipulate and achieve political points.

The “Kurti should focus on the people of Kosovo and on economic growth. Serbia's economy is growing and I call on the government of Serbia to focus on economic issues, where it is doing well. I hope Kurti finds that these hostilities do not help the economic situation of the people of Kosovo. If you look at ideas America has proposed in the last 15 years, Kurt has always been against them. Tell me one that Kurt accepted.
