The GAP Institute analysis of the Government's 2023 draft budget on the share of new capital investments in municipalities says municipalities led by Vetevendosje are favoured.
New central-level capital investments through municipalities favour the municipalities led by Vetevendosje (VV) says part of the analysis on this topic.
Contrary to capital projects that are ongoing from the preliminary years, which present access to the budget of several governments in a row, new capital investments this year indicate the orientation of the current government in the distribution of investments”, the analysis says.
“From 51.2m euros in new central-level capital investments this year is around 22m euros, which are destined for specific projects in 20 municipalities, the GAP analysis continues, Report Periscope.
“Mbi half of that amount (52% or 12m euros) will be directed to the three municipalities led by the VV, municipalities covering 9% of Kosovo's territory and 8% of the population”, the analysis report says.
