EU chief in Belgrade: We are working day and night to find a solution in the north

The chief of the European Union delegation in Belgrade, Emanuele Giaufret, has said today that they are working day and night to find a solution to the situation in northern Kosovo, remove the barricades peacefully and return Serb representatives to institutions, and guarantee respect for [the] obligations.
“We are working day and night to find a solution to the terrain crisis and conditions for the peaceful removal of barricades, for Serbs to return to institutions where they have an important role. We have to go back to the dialogue agenda, because this is the only way to find a solution and to respond to the problems of citizens”, Giaufret said.
The ambassador stressed that it wants to be clear that all agreements reached in the dialogue must be implemented soon, including Association.
“All commitments made in the dialogue must be met, the EU will continue to work in that direction,” Ambassador Emmanuel Giaufret at the EU Information Centre, where the Centre for European Policy and the EU Delegation in Serbia organised the <x2 meeting > From the Czech Republic to Sweden: For a strategic Europe” uniform.
In this case, he said Sweden on January 1st takes over the six-month EU presidency, which brings new energy to the process.
