Energy strategy draft 2022-2031 approved

At today's government meeting, Economy Minister Artane Rizvanolli said the energy sector is quite complex and faces a lot for decades of energy crisis and the war in Ukraine has only made the situation worse.

She said this strategy, which has a total of 5 pillars, should be seen as an opportunity to lay the foundations of an energy sector and open a new energy sector chapter.

The Law on Energy was also adopted at this meeting.

Rizvanolli said they have requested urgent review of this bill due to the situation and included two improvements.

The Kosovo executive at today's meeting also adopted the Cinematography Bill.

Culture Minister Hajrula Ceku said this bill envisions full structural reform in the film sector, which proclaims the film as a particular cultural element.

While the government has also approved the draft concept-document for youth.
