Peace in northern Kosovo is threatened by Albin Kurti, who at any cost wants to keep Serbs hostage, humiliated and deprived of their rights.

So said Serbian List deputy leader Igor Sim enemies, who has stressed that Prime Minister Kurti, “with his actions, acts like a vile and criminal who does not respect any law, agreement or right of the Serbian people”.

He called on the international community “to prevent Kurt from turning the Western Balkans into powder barrels”.

“Serbs, Albanians, Bosniaks, Gorani... all honest citizens want peace, prosperity and future, while Kurti wants destabilisation, conflicts and chaos”.

Serbs in Kosovo, he said, “have endured the tyrants, and they will not endure it now, and Kurti will respond as he deserves”.

This reaction by Simif comes on the day when in the northern part, Serbs have barricaded the roads leading through the border points linking Kosovo and Serbia.

Their reaction comes after Kosovo police today stopped at the Jarinje Border Point the former police official, former member of the Serbian MUP, Dejan Pantic, who, according to Interior Minister Jelal Svecla, had earlier been integrated into the Kosovo Police.

The detainee, says Svecla, according to evidence by the Kosovo Police, “has organised the terrorist attack on KKZ offices in the country's north with the attacks on CEC officials and police officials”.

“Panti is accused of committing terrorist acts and of attacking constitutional order”, Svecla said.
