Elshani i PDK: Elections must be held on December 18th and 25th

Central Election Commission member Arian Elshani from the PDK ranks has said tonight that the state of Kosovo should not back off and elections in municipalities in part of the country's north should be held on December 18th and 28th.

The modern-day action of opening the CEC Offices in the municipalities where elections will be held has been co-ordinated with the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Opening offices is necessary. All CEC activities should be carried out through the physical presence of our officials in these municipalities, so access and ensuring security are necessary”, Elshani said.

He has written on his Facebook page that political trends to destabilise and undermine the election process should not be allowed.

He has called on institutions to provide security for the management of the election process.

December 18th and 25th are the date of choice. So far as the CEC, we have certified the candidates for the mayors and candidates for Municipal Countries; we have appointed U. D High Communist Election Commission officials. Tomorrow, lots are cast for political subjects, and then the election campaign starts tomorrow, so all we ask is security so that the will of the citizens can be expressed freely by choosing their representatives, namely this incompatible”, Elshani said.
