Elon Musk sent reporters away from Twitter: You can come back, but on one condition.

The new Twitter owner, Elon Musk, has offered the possibility of returning to the platform some of the journalists he banned on Twitter, only if they wipe out the status he falsely claimed to share his location “correctly in real time”. This Musk decision came [...]
Musk's decision came after he posted a poll on his personal profile, which ended Friday evening with 59 per cent of participants voting in favour of the immediate return of accounts.
Musk had stopped on Thursday Donnie O'Sullivan of CNN, Ryan Mac of The New York Times and Drew Harwell of The Washington Post. Independent progressive journalist Aaron Rupar, former MSNBC host Keith Olbermann and Insider Linette Lopez columnist were also detained, reports CNNTelevision broadcast.
“People handed over the verdict”, Musk wrote on Friday evening after his survey, pledging to restore accounts he had falsely accused of dividing his location “correctly in real time”.
But as the accounts became publicized on Saturday, journalists were actually barred from posting until they erased the post that Musk had claimed to violate Twitter rules.
In the past, Twitter had sought to lift status that violated the rules so that users could regain access to their accounts, but journalists in this case strongly object that their posts violated Twitter rules.
O'Sullivan and Harwell told CNN on Saturday morning that they had not agreed to delete tweets and instead chose an option to appeal the decision.
“Harwell added that his status did not include a “link with anyone's private information”.
