Dacic stressed to Happy Television that the US approach to the issue is very correct, and added that some European representatives are not so firm on the issue.
“Escobar used the formula for the Brussels Agreement that is in our favour. He said the agreement is legally binding. Some other European representatives are not so determined on the issue. Berbokova told me that no Kosovo prime minister will accept the formation of the Union of Serbian municipalities. However, when the Brussels Agreement was signed, Prime Minister Hashim Thaci was signed. The paradox is that some have Brussels agreements and some do not. President Vuciq listed all international agreements and asked which agreement was acceptable to them”, he said he is Dacic.
According to him, Kosovo does not want anything to be respected, adding that the continuation of the dialogue is questioned here.
“The steps of the Thessaloniki summit refer to Resolution 1244. All claims that agreements and resolutions are not currently in place of Kurti's encouragement not to accept anything and continue his agenda. In the coming days, it will be worked on de-progression and only then can we talk about more serious topics under the Brussels Agreement”, Dacic said.
He has commented on the international community's position on the return of Serbs to Kosovo institutions, claiming “that they have nowhere and have no way to return”.
The International Community representatives declared that the biggest problem currently is Kurti. They believe that while Kurti is in power, there will be nothing to respect the Brussels Agreement”, Dacic said.
He said it is uncertain what will happen to Kosovo after its EU membership application.
“Sciarto personally promised to vote against me! The question is whether there will be a vote at all or will require the leading Czech Republic as a procedure issue”, he has said.
