Cups: Kosovo is talking about Association

Former Ambassador Bequ Cufaj said that the decade of honey Vuciq having had in Berlin has once and for all ended during the period of Angela Merkel government.
“Vucciq realized Germany is no longer what it was. Germany has radically changed its approach to Russia and even to Serbia”, Cufay said at “21 directly” in RTV21.

According to him, Serbia has already noted that it is not with political conspiracy as it has been well for Kosovo.

Kosovo must understand the moment and remember that it is important that our opinion knows that Kosovo has a strong ally in Germany.”, he said.

According to him, the association of Serbian municipalities is Kosovo's obligation.

He said that this obligation should be met on the basis of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo.

“If the Government of Kosovo acts on its own without co-ordination with international partners then we are in a situation where conditions will be even more difficult to present to us by our partners”, Cufaj said.

He also stated that Kosovo is holding talks for Association.

“Who is saying that Kosovo is discussing Association. As far as I know Kosovo is talking about Association and Kosovo is doing well talking about association. Whether or not we'll see. I think it's not relevant if it's going to be part of the draft German Franco accord, because the publications coming out of that letter have to be fulfilled”, said Cufaj.

As for the barricades in the north, Serbian President Alaksanddar Vuciq said that he does not have the luxury of confronting NATO troops in Kosovo.

He also stated that Kosovo talks are too intense.

The “Tacks are extremely intense and now all energy is oriented in two areas (brazda), the first lockup is called the suspension of the situation in the north, and the second lockz is called the final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia”, Cufaj said.
