According to him, from membership in U NESTO will prove Kosovo's independence and sovereignty even more.

I believe that at the next opportunity it should apply. And that opportunity is in autumn of next year, because the general conference of U. NESCO meets every two years and this is the possibility for application. European Council application to the European Union, NATO, too soon at U NESTO, are natural actions to confirm Kosovo's sovereignty and independence”, Ceku said on the “debate council” in Tv1.

He also mentioned Kosovo's application for membership candidate status in the European Union, which will take place this month.

I believe that in the same logic we must continue with the W NESCO and other institutional and international organisations”, he said away.

We remember that Kosovo's bid to join UN cultural bodies in 2015 has not received enough votes from U member states NESTO, due to strong opposition from Serbia and its allies.
