So said Burim Ahmetaj by the CEC Secretariat, clarifying that security is the reason.
“From these meetings we have the KKZ statements for North Mitrovica municipalities, Zvecan, Leposaviq and Zubin Potok that it is impossible for them to operate in an facility managed by non-communal structures. Likewise, according to the JCZ members' statement, they will by no means go to the office, as they have stated that physical security is in question”.
“While KKZ officials from Zvecan have declared that even with police forward under these circumstances they refuse to go to work”, Ahmetaj said further.
“In Zvecan the KKZ object is completely closed while in northern Mitrovica it is completely demented. Officials have said that in the facilities of the resort municipalities it is impossible to work because of the situation created there”, Ahmetaj said further.
And the rejection of duty by municipal officials of the Central Election Commission is considered absurd for VV member Sami Kurteshi.
The PKKZ's refusal of workers is unreasonable. Workers with regular contracts and saying I'm not going, it's absurd”, he said. While Ilir Gashi from the PDK said members who are refusing to do their job are political subjects rather than CEC.
“I listened more carefully to the chief chief, but one thing we need to make clear that KKZ officials have not refused the job, but party officials, not those who are CEC workers”, Gashi said. / EO/
