Blake: Kosovo Serbs checked by Belgrade, situation in north outside state control

Analyst Bekim Blakaj has commented on the situation in northern Kosovo. Blakaj stressed that Serbs in northern Kosovo are under Belgrade's control.

“Since the post-war period Kosovo Serbs are controlled by Belgrade, despite efforts made to secede from local Serbs, this has been impossible”, Blakaj said.

Asked whether it has come out of control of the northern Kosovo state, Blakaj said he is afraid of yes, since even the vehicles off the street have been removed from unknown and masked persons.

I'm afraid the situation is out of state control. If you notice, heavy tone tools have been removed from the street by masked persons”, Blakay told ABC.
