Bislimi: Putin urges tensions between Kosovo, Serbia to distract attention from Ukraine

Kosovo's first Deputy Prime Minister, Besnik Bislimi, declares that Russian President Vladimir Putin has intervened in reports between Kosovo and Serbia in order to remove Western eyes from Ukraine. He confirmed that a Russian centre with the official name “Humanitarian Centre” is supplying the Serbian Army to attack Kosovo overnight. Bislimi for Times [...]
Bislimi for Times Radio said Russia tends to drive or distract the focus from Ukraine by opening up new conflict areas.
There is documented evidence that people in paramilitary groups are being supported by a Russian humanitarian centre. So I guess nobody's denying Russia's presence and influence. And if there are more details to understand how easily Russia can use this to conflict, show the recent attacks of these troops in Kosovo that started at night, with elaborate people inside the barricades, because they are being supplied with large quantities of alcohol, financial means, and all through the “Humanitarian Centre“, Bislimi says, British portal “Express<4>.
Bislimi issued this statement after Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq said on Wednesday evening that Serbs would remove barricades in Kosovo on Thursday as a move to reduce tensions that sparked fears of a conflict in the Balkans.
Vuciq said this agreement was reached late Wednesday evening during meeting with representatives of northern Kosovo Serbs.
The agreement was reached, following the release of a former northern Serb officer whose detention had sparked crisis between Serbia and Kosovo, which caused concerns among the internationals. He was released from prison and placed in house arrest.
The arrest of former police officer Dejan Pantic on December 10th sparked protests by Kosovo Serbs, who erected barricades in the country's north.
Pantic was imprisoned for terrorism after attacking a police officer during a previous protest.
While Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti criticised the court's decision to free Pantic in house arrest.
“I am curious to know who the prosecutor was who applied and the judge who approved the decision to release someone on charges of domestic prison terrorism”, Kurti said at the media conference.
