Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi spoke of a sentence in the statement by European Chief diplomat Josep Borrell, after reaching the last agreement in November between Kosovo and Serbia. It said that “With the European Union's mediation, the parties have agreed with measures to avoid the crossings and concentrate on urgent issues, on proposal for normalisation of relations, as presented by the EU and supported by France and Germany”. This was interpreted as Kosovo's pledge to establish association.
Bislimi said to the Commission for Foreign Affairs that this “is the European Union's standard language”, while in advance quoted parts of the declaration as quoting in English.
It's the European Union's standard language. It's unintelligible even for any of the officials in Brussels that, in any discussion with the prime minister, you have to do the Association to say, Bislim said.
According to the deputy prime minister, the issue of association applies deliberately and urges internationals to react. That's what MP Ariana Musliu-Scheshi's question on the matter.
The “at least has to do with association. It is intended that the prime minister be forced to say I don't, and then a statement came out from Brussels that should be carried out. It is not clear that by constantly increasing Serbia's trade in agreement and lowering Kosovo's”, Bislimi said.
