The two leaders confirmed they would continue to stand against Russia's war.
The French leader made it clear that he would never call on Ukraine for compromise on something Kiev considers unacceptable, Periscopi broadcast.
Their statement came at the time when a senior Ukrainian official said 10,000 to 13 thousand Ukrainian soldiers have been killed since the beginning of the Russian invasion on February 24th.
Neither Ukraine nor Russia tend to disclose the losses figures, and the statements of presidential adviser Mykhailo Podolyak have been confirmed by the Ukrainian Army.
Last month, top American general, Mark Milley, said about 100,000 Russian soldiers and 100,000 Ukrainians had been killed or wounded since the beginning of the war.
