Barricades north: Serbian academics use fire. Here's the propaganda the media is doing in Belgrade.

And this propaganda, Serbian media fanned even with claims by popular sociologists in Belgrade and even academics.

One of them, Zoran Avramovic, tells Novosti that what is happening today in Kosovo is a test for Serbian patriotism.

And this is not so much an issue of Albanians as it is the patriotism of Serbs who will defend what is their historical right. The problem that complicates the situation in Kosovo even more is Western intervention. The West did not force Albanians in the 90th years to enter dialogue, but allowed them to take up arms. Remember: Two new barricades -- one in northern Mitrovica and one in Zvecan -- are located in the country known as the Duda Rock (Dudin krash), confirmed to Radio Free Europe by Kosovo Police.

“North of the country, persons/ criminal groups at night, have continued to establish barricades, further hampering freedom of free movement. Reference to official information, two barricades with heavy tools --” -- have been introduced, police said.

The barricade, located in northern Mitrovica, is located at the crossroads of Technical School, police said.

The Serbian president, who is also commander-in-chief of Serbia's Armed Forces, Aleksandar Vuciq, has ordered that the army and all interior affairs ministry units be at the highest level of combat readiness, broadcast Serbia's Radio Television.

Serbian Defence Minister Milos Vuchevic said on the evening of December 26th that Vuciq has ordered Serbia's “Armed Forces to be at the highest level of combat readiness -- willingly ready to the level of use of armed force”.

He said that the increase at the highest level of action by the Serbian Army takes place to protect Serbia's territorial integrity and sovereignty and to protect all citizens of Serbia, preventing terrorism and terror against Serbs everywhere living”.

“There is no reason for panic, but there is reason for concern, because it seems that Serbia is the only party interested in negotiating, for political agreement, to meet even a thousand times until there is any” agreement.
