The first barricades within the city was seen by Bosniaks' neighborhood

It is a multiethnic settlement, where Albanians, Serbs and Bosniaks live, and the road where the barricades are located is one of the roads connecting northern Mitrovica and South.
Also, there is information that has been established that is another barricade in the country known as “dudin Krs” in Zvecan, which is unable to move from South Mitrovica to Rudare, the Zvecan municipality, writes Radio Free Europe.

The barricade in Bosniaks' neighbourhood is the first located within any city in the north since some local Serbs began blocking roads on December 10th. The other barricades are located mainly on the magical roads leading to the Jarinje and Brnjak border crossings, connecting Kosovo and Serbia.
Local Serbs who have built barricades in the north for 18 days, as a sign of dissatisfaction with the arrest of former Kosovo Serb police officer Dejan Pantic. Authorities in Kosovo have said Pantic is suspected of organising the December 6th attack on Central Election Commission officials in the north.
Since the barricades have been established, a number of incidents involving firearms, hand grenades and bomb friends have been recorded in northern Kosovo. / REL
