New barricade set in the north, Jarinje border points still closed

A new barricade has been introduced, as police announces during the night, in the Beijing district leading to Zvecan.

Police also report that the Jarnije and Brnjak border points are still closed.

Since the location of barricades in the country's north, the security situation continues to be the same, the two Jarinje and Brnjak border points continue to be closed, as is now known, due to the settlement of barricades by criminal groups.

The establishment of barricades continues to undermine freedom of free movement, and also to prevent access to two border points of citizens and goods.

During the night, the establishment of a new barricade has continued in the Zvecan district, leading to Zvecan, to continue preventing freedom of free movement even on alternative roads, which is further making the lives of citizens in the north.

Kosovo police, under its legal and constitutional mandate, are engaged in providing security to all citizens and the country.
