Kosovo's Democratic League expresses deep concern for the security situation in the country's north. Attacks on the institutions of the Republic, members of the Kosovo Police and EULEX, as well as the barricade and closure of roads are actions that violate the Republic's constitutional order, so as such, they are unacceptable. The LDK strongly condemns these actions and requires the perpetrators of the attacks to be brought before the institutions of justice of the Republic of Kosovo.”, Bajrami wrote.
The former finance minister has also said that co-ordinating the government's actions with Kosovo partners is the only way towards returning order, security and free movement across Kosovo's territory.
“The LDK once again reiterates its application to the Government and other institutions of the country for co-ordinating actions with Kosovo partners as the only way towards returning order, security and free movement across Kosovo's territory. Any other path is falling into the trap of destabilizing goals of Serbia. The LDK seeks from the Kosovo government clear plans to resolve the security situation in the north. At this point, the country needs real leadership that will act wisely and decisively; that instead of division it provides deep unity and close co-ordination with our allies.”, it has continued.
