A coup to bring down power in Germany has failed while 25 people have been arrested. The detainees planned to attack the German parliament and take power. In 11 German federal states police raids were conducted and 25 persons belonging to the organisation “citizens of Reich” were arrested (Reichsbürger) .
The new government device had to be created as “priority” according to monarchic principles and divided into various ministries.
Those arrested are part of the right-wing escort and were led by a 71-year-old man who named himself Prince Henry XIII.
Since the early hours of the morning, officials from the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) and special units such as GSG 9 and some SEK have taken action nationwide against the so-called Richsbürger scene.
About 3,000 emergency services searched 137 items owned by 52 suspects.
Berlin's LKA investigators had traced the secret alliance around a man living in Hesse. According to BILD's information, the Senate administration reported suspicion of a “unconstitutional group” to federal security authorities in late August 2022.
