Rassic has suggested to Stanos that he read the Constitution of Kosovo, until he has mentioned an article of the Constitution that says the prime minister is allowed to determine for himself the governing cabinet without consulting the Parliament.
When I saw Stano's biography, I didn't see that he had knowledge of the Constitution of Kosovo, so I suggest he read it carefully”, Nenad Rassic said, writes Kosovo Online.
“Nini 94 says the prime minister, according to Kosovo laws, has the right to dismiss and appoint ministers without the consent of the Assembly”, Rassic has said.
At a media conference, Stano has said that “according to preliminary assessments, his appointment has not been in line with constitution”.
It is very important that all the ministers' appointments are in line with the Kosovo Constitution. We call on authorities in Kosovo to ensure respect for the constitution. According to our preliminary reading, this appointment is not in line with the Kosovo Constitution”, Stano has said.
