Alarm: Kosovo Clan team hospital after stone attack by masked persons in Zupc
In an alarming trend, AGK has reported today another serious attack on journalists reporting from the country's north.
Masked persons have attacked the Kosovo Clan team in Zubin Potok.
The team, consisting of journalists standing Bellagoshi, Drin Demiri, cameraman Agon Beytullahu and driver Elsad Sinani, have been attacked today in the village of Zupc. Reporter Bellagoshi and driver Sinan have received medical treatment because the glass from a broken stone car has been hit in the face. While Demiri and Bejtullahu have escaped uninhibited.
Kosovo Police have also announced the case.
Continued attacks pose a serious threat to journalists' security and hinder the reporting of developments in the north. Therefore, AGK, urges KFOR and EULEX to play an additional role in ensuring the physical security of journalists, who continue to be the target of attacks organised by undercover groups.
