Xavi has confirmed that Barcelona will target the transfer of a quarterback to the passing winter term.
This comes after Gerard Pique announced his retirement from football.
“We will go to a protector centre in January, it will be a priority after Pique has decided to quit”, Xavi said.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona is currently exploring the options.
The Annigo Martinez of Athletic Bilbaos is said to be on the list for a long time.
