VV in 2018: We do not object to salary increases for prosecutors and judges

The Kosovo government has abolished the decision issued in 2017 by Ramush Haradinaj's government cabinet for changing the salaries of judges and prosecutors. But that's not all. The Vetevendosje movement in 2018 had not rejected the decision to raise salaries for judges and prosecutors.
In the LVV communiqué in 2018, where they had rejected the decision to raise salaries in Government and had sought to reverse this decision, but part of this communique clearly states that “Currently the prosecutor's salary is 1,000 euros, while the court's 1,200th salary goes up for Appeal and Supreme and Special Prosecutor”.
“As for this issue, we do not object to salary increases for judges and prosecutors. Currently, the prosecutor's salary is 1,000 euros, while the court's 1,200-euro salary goes up for Apel and the Supreme and Special Prosecutor. Those in need of salary raises are civilian staff of justice institutions, which have salaries below 400 euros.”, the LVV communiqué said in 2018.
