French Ambassador to Kosovo Olivier Guerot has not entered into detail on the Franco-German plan for Kosovo-Serb dialogue.
Meanwhile, for visas it has expressed itself positively, saying they expect a good decision on the issue.
“Day has had two meetings between President Macron and President Vuciq and Prime Minister Kurti's president, where they discussed the situation in Kosovo and discussed the Franco-German plan. Today there will be two meetings between them”, the ambassador said.
These statements came on the occasion of commemorating the ceasefire between Germany and France in 1018 that marked the end of World War I.
President Macron told President Osmani that we favour liberalisation in June of this year with some measures to be realised. We are respecting this commitment. We are waiting for a positive decision to be reached and an agreement to be reached on this matter”, Guerot said.
I can't give you more explanation. France and Germany have proposed a plan and would not like to comment on the stance and declaration of different parties with that plan. Statements given by various countries do not help realising that plan”.
