US: Ukrainian missile attacks boost G20 concerns over Russia

The United States strongly condemns Russia's recent missile attacks against Ukraine, which seem to have hit the Kiev residential buildings and other cities across the country”, US National Security Council Jake Sullivan.
Of the missile attacks on Kiev on November 15th, at least one person has died. This appears to be a nationwide attack, as similar attacks are being reported in Zaporija Mykolaiv, Chernihiv and other countries.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said 85 missiles were launched against Ukraine on Tuesday, and another 20 are expected to hit the country.
This attack is taking place as world leaders gathered in Bali, Indonesia, at the G20 summit, or group of more industrialized countries, where they condemned the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
As G20 leaders gathered in Bali, Indonesia, to discuss the global aftermath of the war, Sullivan said Russia is again trying to destroy Ukraine's critical infrastructure.
“These Russian attacks will only serve to deepen concerns among the G20 about the destabilising impact of the [Vladimir] war. Putin”, he said.
The United States and our allies and partners will continue to offer Ukraine what it needs to protect itself, including air defence systems”, Sullivan said.
“We will stay with Ukraine as long as you need,” he said.
Last week Moscow has withdrawn its troops from the southern town of Herson One of Ukraine's greatest successes in its fight against Russian occupation.
In the past, when Russia has suffered losses in the field, it has attacked through the air. / REL
